coding
for the web
our studio
Italpro was founded in 1996 to answer the rising demand of the
Pordenone (Italy) province companies for instruments and support for
Internet communication. During the following years we focused our
activity mainly on software development for the web, that is to say
the creation of everything that makes a web application work "under
the covers". Italpro also handles applications hosting, and installation
and configuration of servers where to run the applications it
develops.
Italpro developed web applications in different areas including
e-commerce, handling of scheduled tasks, booking services, and
medical research.
Thanks to modern communications systems with which Italpro is accustomed
to work, it now has customers spread all over Italy an across Europe.
Since the day of our foundation we decided to almost only use open source instruments for our activity. In particular, the Perl language is one of the cornerstones of our activity, along with our web servers running Linux and FreeBSD. We also actively cooperate with some projects of the open source community.

held on November 29, 2008 at the New Cavendish Campus of Westminster
